Role Overview
- Enabling RFQ wins for Air/Ocean/Land
- Execution of Global Tender process, strategy and regional deployment Global Tender Management tool (GTP)
- Safeguarding high-quality and excellence in all operative tender related activities
- Building the bridge between all involved stakeholders in the TM process globally, regionally and across clusters
- Active participation in improving the Global Tender Process in line with SOP KA 02
Key Accountabilities
- Support our business growth
- Successful execution of the end-to-end tender management process in compliance with global SOP
- Implement strategic approach, goals and targets of Global Tender Management across the region.
- Manage transition to customer implement process
- Keep functional costs as per budget through efficient processes and resource allocation
- Case studies/ new solutions by product/ VM
- Updates on global pricing process
- Educate stakeholders on the process and deliverables within the tender process
- Interpret and/ or analyze tender report data from GTP and provide input for enhancement of available dashboard
- Disciplinary leadership of Regional GTM Team and Functional leadership of Cluster GTM Teams
- Participate in Global Tender Management relevant discussions or projects globally, regionally and in the clusters
- Participate in Management Forums i.e., GTM Steering Committee, Regional Commercial Planning leadership team
Parameters for Success
- Revenue and/or volume targets of tendered business
- Implementation of GTP & Performance Review
- Hit-Rate Awarded vs targeted
- Rollout and enhancement in our GTM competence center set-up
- Relevant experience in sales (customer focus)
- experience in tenders or procurement
- Understanding of Air, Ocean, Land transport
- High sense for interdisciplinary collaboration and ability to align different stakeholders
- High affinity for provision of services / sales-oriented person/attitude
