Responsibilites:
- Develop and execute daily schedules for collection and delivery routes, leveraging optimization techniques to enhance efficiency and minimize delays, integrating expertise from 4 years in logistics.
- Proactively address any issues during collection or delivery promptly and effectively, drawing upon experience to troubleshoot and implement solutions swiftly.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other expenses related to trips, utilizing organizational skills honed over years of managing logistics operations.
- Organize and facilitate regular training sessions and toolbox talks, incorporating cross-training initiatives to enhance team versatility and efficiency.
- Coordinate regular maintenance for the entire fleet, including inspections, servicing, and repairs, leveraging a thorough understanding of vehicle maintenance protocols.
- Ensure team members complete required safety training courses, applying knowledge of compliance standards acquired over years in logistics management.
- Monitor team performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance as needed, drawing on experience in performance management and leadership.
- Collaborate closely with customer service and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination of collection and delivery activities, optimizing communication channels for efficient workflow.
- Proactively approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset, leveraging analytical skills and experience to develop effective resolutions.
- Stand ready to fulfill the duties of other fleet supervisors in their absence, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability gained through years of experience in logistics management.
Requirements:
- Min ITE holder/Diploma holder with at least 4 years of relevant working experience
- IT savvy (Words / Excel / Power Point) minimum
- Possess class 3 driving license
- Off on alternate Saturdays
- Independent, self-motivated with good coordination and communication skills
- Able to work in fast paced environment; Team oriented and dynamic
