A LEADING GLOBAL INDEPENDENT BROKER

Howden is a specialist commercial insurance broker. Its regional footprint covers Singapore (regional headquarters), Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, and Philippines. It is part of the London-headquartered Howden Broking Group, a leading independent, global broker with offices in over 30 countries worldwide.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Answering incoming telephone calls.

2. Receive and greet visitors to the office.

3. Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and courier delivery.

4. Maintain safe, neat, and tidy common area.

5. Manage meeting spaces equipment and uses.

6. Assist in coordinating office vendors and suppliers.

7. Coordinate building services and maintenance, assist to manage office cleaning services.

8. Assist in event coordination.

9. Assist in procurement and ensure supplies are well-stocked.

10. Maintain security and access cards.

11. Manage the reservations of flights, accommodation and transportation.

12. Provide administrative support as and when necessary.

13. Perform other duties as assigned.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

• Minimum GCE O level education qualification

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, in an admin or receptionist role.

• Proficient in MS Office applications is a bonus.

• Able to work independently as well as within a team

• Good interpersonal skills – able to communicate well across organisational levels
