The Supply Chain Executive performs desk-bound and storeman activities. Training (OJT) will be provided from various personnel since this position is new and meant to be independent. Subsequent work is deemed a highly required supportive role to Store, Operations and Supplier Management, hence the requirement of performing duties independently without direct supervision. Dynamic, respectful, hardworking, inquisitive and flexible/versatile character is preferred.
Examples of work tasks NOT in order and mostly individual tasks:
- Sourcing and Buying: With existing list of preferred suppliers to customize parts; to support quotations (sourcing role to get quotations from suppliers) via emails and to create/approve POs from the ERP system (buyer role) upon successful orders from customers.
- Incoming Activities: Receiving shipments and to accept from the ERP system (Arrival Notice) against approved orders in the ERP system (PORs) and transact the parts physically (Un-pack) to IQA for inspection.
- Outgoing Activities: To check and create documents necessary for outgoing shipment and call for forwarder online/email for pickup.
- Incoming/Outgoing: Require to pack the parts according to work standards. Each box shall be less than 9KG. Responsible to track packing materials and to buy them to keep stock.
- Purchase Returns (PR) and Rework (POR): Create appropriate paperwork from ERP system (PR or POR) and to prepare the shipment (parts from FQC) to send back to supplier.
- Part numbers (P/No.) and BOM creation to facilitate new projects and new to buy items.
- Manufacturing order (MO) creation in ERP system for Production to manufacture according to materials purchased.
- Production Schedule (excel): Creation and update of Production schedule with above information – POR, MO, customer’s PO, P/No and shipping (incoming/outgoing) info.
- To be careful in handling fragile glass products which can also be hazardous when broken.
- To obey and advocate safety measures and safety instructions.
- No working experience required. Training will be provided.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
