Responsibilities:
ISO Management System for Partners
- Lead internal auditors for partners’ external audits, ensuringcompliance with ISO standards relevant to the data center industry.
- Review partners’ Management Review documentation, providing strategic recommendations for continuous improvement aligned with data center market requirements.
Design & Development /New Production Introduction Process
- Lead quality assurance efforts for new diesel generator set products tailored for data center applications, ensuring quality is engineered into the design phase to meet data center reliability standards.
- Drive supplier quality agreements and critical quality inspections for major components, setting the standard for reliability and performance in data center power solutions.
Product Entering Mass Production
- Conduct proactive quality checks for manufacturing processes of diesel generator sets, identifying and addressing defects before they impact data center operations.
- Ultilise advanced Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous quality enhancement in mass production.
Supplier Evaluation and Audit
- Lead supplier evaluation and audit processes, assessing supplier capabilities, performance, and compliance with data center quality standards.
- Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers, driving performance excellence and fostering collaborative relationships aimed at mutual success in the data center market.
- Champion supplier quality improvement initiatives, leveraging experience and expertise to drive supplier development and enhance overall supply chain resilience.
- Lead 4CQA, CL-XXXX and follow up until closure.
Key Strategic Partners Engagements
- Oversee ISO9001 & ISO14001 implementation with existing business partners supplying diesel generator set components for data center applications.
- Drive strategic quality improvement initiatives within partner organisations, leveraging risk management and opportunity assessment tools to enhance quality performance and reliability in the data center market.
Incoming inspection for 1st Article
- Lead incoming inspection processes for first articles of diesel generator set components, ensuring compliance with data center specifications and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to address transportation-related defects and minimize disruptions to data center operations.
- Conduct outgoing visual inspections before genset delivery, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and quality standards.
Support Global Special Projects with Business Partners
- Lead and support global special projects in collaboration with business partners supplying diesel generator set components for data center applications, driving quality and performance excellence across global operations.
- Conduct audits of management systems and processes to ensure supplier capability and readiness for strategic initiatives and business expansion activities focused on the data center market.
Independent Leadership and Junior Coaching
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, demonstrating expertise and ownership in driving quality initiatives and achieving organisational objectives.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development in quality engineering and supplier management.
- Support organisation business activities for consistency in meeting data center market demands globally, contributing to the achievement of strategic goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a Diploma in any Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience required.
- Able to Travel overseas (up to 40% per year).
- Able to identify Tasks, Implement Actions, Monitor Results.
- ISO9001 & ISO14001 knowledge is preferable.
