Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a warehouse team of about 50 to 80 employees for both in-house and subcontractors
- Provide strategic leadership and directions to manage daily warehouse operations
- Manage and oversee all fleet management and transportation activities for domestic and international logistics projects
- Skilful in capacity planning and resource allocation for efficient daily order fulfilment and receiving, minimizing overtime
- Continuously engage customers on commercial, operational scope of work and contract renewals
- Accountable for the P&L performance for the responsible programs in scope, managing expenditures within defined budgets
- Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to track warehouse and logistics performance and report on key insights to management
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods
- Ensure implementation and compliance with Safety, Health, Security, and Quality policies and procedures among staff
- Collaborative, adaptable, capable of multitasking and delivering results under pressure while adhering to timelines
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Plan and provide on-the-job training to individual staff to improve work performance and productivity
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned
Requirement:
- Require Diploma or Degree holder in related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managerial position or fleet operations/ transportation management
- Able to work on weekend (Sat & Sun) and any Public Holiday
- Have Class 3/4 Driving license
- Six Sigma (Black Belt) certification is advantageous.
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office features
