Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management to lead and manage diverse projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in project oversight, risk management, and stakeholder communication. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to drive projects to successful completion while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Project Oversight and Decision-Making
- Define clear roles and responsibilities for project stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Establish decision-making authority at various project levels.
- Maintain Agile Governance for teams.
- Develop comprehensive project charters outlining objectives, scope, and stakeholders.
- Ensure projects have well-defined plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve resource conflicts and bottlenecks.
Risk Management
- Implement processes for identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular reports on project risks and mitigation efforts.
Communication and Reporting:
- Outline communication strategies for project information to stakeholders.
- Maintain project dashboards, reports, and metrics to track performance and risks.
- Prepare Business Case reviews, Project Readiness Reviews, and monthly portfolio performance reports (MPR) for management.
Resource Management:
- Ensure appropriate resource allocation to support project objectives.
- Assess organizational capacity for managing multiple projects.
Financial Management
- Establish budgeting processes and controls to manage project costs.
- Provide transparent financial reporting on project expenditures.
Project Closure & Continuous Improvement
- Define project closure criteria and document lessons learned.
- Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes and identify improvements.
- Establish feedback loops to capture insights and lessons learned from each project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on oversight and decision-making.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and software.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
