Our client, an established Japanese digital solution company, is expanding its business in East Asia.
The Digital Product Manager is a key role responsible for the strategy, development, and management of digital products or services. This position is central to defining the product vision, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring digital products meet user needs, business objectives, and market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligning with the organization's goals. Define product goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success metrics.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes, and emerging industry trends.
Use insights to inform product development and enhancement decisions. - Product Roadmap: Create and manage a product roadmap outlining the short-term and long-term development plans.
Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business value, and market dynamics. - Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to gather and document detailed product requirements.
Create clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Agile Development: Work closely with development teams, following agile methodologies, to oversee the product development process.
Ensure the product is developed on time, within scope, and meets quality standards. - Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the product meets defined requirements and quality standards.
Address and prioritize issues and defects. - Product Launch: Plan and execute product launches, coordinating marketing, sales, and support efforts.
Monitor product performance and gather user feedback after launch. - Performance Analysis: Analyze product performance and user feedback to make data-driven decisions for product improvements.
Continuously monitor KPIs and adapt the product strategy as necessary. - Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including executive management, development teams, marketing, and sales.
Provide regular updates on product progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of digital product management experience, with a proven track record of successful product launches and improvements, is typically required.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the digital market, target audience, and industry trends.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize the digital product.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address digital product challenges and make strategic decisions.
- Leadership: Effective leadership and project management skills to guide the digital product development process.
Language Proficiency: English, Mandarin plus Japanese or Korean is a strong advantage
