Textile Merchandiser
- Working Timing: 5.5 Days work week
Monday - Friday [ 9am - 6pm ]
Alternative Saturday [ 9am - 1pm ] - Salary: $3,000 - $4,000
- Office Location: Near to Kaki Bukit MRT
Roles & Responsibilities
One of the leading sports goods companies of Asia, involved in wholesale & distribution of branded sports equipment, accessories, footwear & apparel. The company has offices in several countries of Asia with headquarters at Singapore.
Requirements:-
- Possess a diploma in a related field and a minimum of 6 years of experience as a product technician/merchandiser.
- Be well-versed with sports apparel products such as t-shirts, shorts, tracksuits. Experience with other sports accessories such as socks, health guards, wrist bands, and caps would be advantageous.
- Be able to work closely with designers on the development and conceptualising of product lines.
- Be able to source for production factories which offer the best production quotes vis-vis output quality, minimum order requirements, and payment schemes.
- Be able to handle price negotiation to attain cost effectiveness.
- Source and research the creative use of various trims and fabrics which are required for producing samples, in accordance with the brand’s direction as well as the latest trends.
- Develop tech packs and order raw materials for styles which will be sent for bulk production.
- Review and work closely with the factories to ensure that all prototypes are based on the given concepts and required specifications.
- Follow up closely on production and deliveries to ensure timelines are met.
- Must ensure production factories meet product construction quality standards.
- Able to check size specifications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Able to travel around the region.
