Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting and HR Executive to join our team. The Accounting and HR Executive will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations as well as human resources functions of our fitness studio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting and HR processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, time off, and other HR-related data.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding employees, including preparing employment contracts and conducting exit interviews.
- Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and financial institutions to resolve any accounting-related issues or inquiries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into the financial performance of the fitness studio.
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, audits, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop financial strategies, forecasts, and goals to support the growth and sustainability of the fitness studio.
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in accounting, HR, or financial management roles, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, HR regulations, and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), HRIS systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and HR metrics.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
