Roles & Responsibilities:
The temp staff will be attached to the Strategic Communications Department (SCD) and will work with the team to expand the company’s digital presence through content creation projects for social media and enhancements for the website and internal communications platforms.
Social media and content creation-
• Research
1. Carry out research and develop effective and engaging content topics for AGC’s social media posts, taking references from trending Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts.
2. Carry out research to identify potential partners (e.g. key opinion leaders, online influencers) to collaborate with for AGC’s social media content.
• Publicity Materials
1. Conceptualise, develop and publish videos on AGC’s digital platforms.
2. Assist in executing partnerships and collaborations with identified partners for AGC’s social media content.
3. Re-package AGC’s content (e.g. stories, staff profiles) for cross sharing on digital platforms to increase brand awareness and increase platform traffic.
4. Conceptualise and create infographics to simplify key AGC messages for target audiences.
• Social Media Community management
1. Assist the team with community management of AGC’s social media accounts i.e., responding to comments, private messages, uploading and scheduling posts
2. Monitor and compile online sentiments on AGC-related issues
Corporate Website, and Internal Communications-
• Conduct research and support the review of AGC’s corporate website to recommend enhancements to improve usability and integration with social media channels
• Provide support to the SCD team for internal communications channels (eg. CENTRAL newsletter, website etc) through the creation of banners, population of content and uploading of content/announcements.
Requirements
• Good command of English with a keen eye for detail
• Qualifications in Media and Communications, Graphic Design or related courses are preferred
• Familiar with social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc
• Experience in managing online communities and user feedback would be an advantage
• Prior experience in filming and editing short-form videos for digital and internal communications platforms (eg. social media and AGC corporate website)
• Prior experience in using Adobe Creative suite software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or equivalent graphic design and video-editing software
• Strong work ethic and able to work well in a team
Contract Period:12 months
