Duties
- Assist in applying numerical methods to develop quantitative trading process
- Collaborate on the design and implementation of trading system to bolster reliability and self-correction
- Provide innovative solutions to enhance trading system
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues to uphold system efficiency
- Devise ways to architect and formulate solutions
- Sort out algorithms to reduce the latency of trading system
Requirements
- Holding degrees/higher diplomas related to mathematics, engineering or computing are desirable
- Strong programming skills in MetaTrader 5, VBA, Java and/or C++, SQL Server, Python and/or knowledge of MS Excel
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, well-structured and detail-orientated
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Tendency for logical, innovative and creative thinking
- Good command of English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin
- Working experience in the financial industry not necessary but preferable
