Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for purchasing, logistics, and production planning
Key Duties/Tasks:
• Review requested items for requisition and liaise with Supervisors/Projects Team to determine the suitability of the material as well as identify and track overdue material requests
• Manage Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order
• Obtain/source for product alternatives
• Ensure items purchased are received on time to meet projects /
customers' schedule and according to specification
• Responsible for sourcing and negotiation
• Purchase forecast planning
• Ensure sufficient items are bought into the warehouse to support Sales and Production
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others;
• Logistics arrangement
• Any other tasks and duties delegated by Supervisor or Management
Key Performance Expectations:
• Ensure cost, quality, and delivery across all Purchase functions
• Take preventive action to avoid material shortages that will impact production
plan
Job Requirements:
• A Level / Diploma
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in purchasing and production planning
• SAP knowledge preferred; PC literate & proficient in MS Office application
• Mechanical background preferred
Working location: Teho Water at Tuas
5 days work week, 8 am to 5:30 pm
