Job Responsibilities:-
- Design, develop, and maintain EDA automation scripts to improve efficiency of design and verification processes
- Collaborate with design and verification teams to understand their needs and create custom solutions
- Unify & Integrate EDA tools and flows and support various methodology across different user base
- Optimize existing EDA workflows to reduce runtime and improve resource utilization.
- Develop and implement Tapeout automation frameworks to ensure timely execution of Tapeout process with Zero error or defects.
- Automate and support QA checks for all design databases at the final stage of the Tapeout process
- Provide technical support and training to design teams on the use of EDA tools and automation scripts
- Stay updated with the latest developments in EDA tools and methodologies and recommend improvements and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDA tools and automation flows
Job Requirements:-
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minumum 7 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on EDA automation
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, and shell scripting
- Understanding of the IC design flow, including front-end and back-end processes
- Experience with major EDA tools from vendors such as Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics
- Familiarity with version control systems like Perforce
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot tool/flow/license related issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Experience with advanced node technologies (e.g., 8nm, 4nm, and below)
- Knowledge of machine learning and its application to EDA and semiconductor design
