In line with their recent growth and expansion, they are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Production/Operations Manager to join their team and contribute to their legacy of excellence.
Your new role
A few of your responsibilities would be;
· Manage the manufacturing process to ensure production stays on schedule and within budget constraints.
· Formulate strategies for workplace safety and health and supervise manpower and resource planning.
· Adopt lean production techniques, such as single-piece flow and Kanban systems, to boost production process efficiency.
· Utilize root cause analysis methodologies for investigating quality incidents.
· Apply visual management tools, including Andon boards and production dashboards.
· Work in tandem with design/product development teams to carry out manufacturing feasibility studies.
· Promote a culture that values continuous improvement and operational excellence.
· Lead and mentor a team, providing them with necessary guidance and training initiatives.
· Collaborate with design/product development teams to conduct manufacturing feasibility studies.
· Adopt rapid prototyping techniques, including 3D printing and CNC machining.
What you'll need to succeed
· Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
· Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
· Project Management and Six Sigma certifications are preferred.
· Well-versed in manufacturing automation technologies and production planning & scheduling software.
· Knowledgeable in lean manufacturing and quality management systems.
· Familiar with Industry 4.0 technologies.
· Experienced in maintenance management and predictive maintenance.
· Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
