What a Manufacturing Engineer does at HP
- Lead and own key manufacturing process in Graphics Falcon/G5i Printhead technology.
- Drives process characterization and improvements in collaboration with internal/external partners.
- Innovate on new forms of manufacturing technology (Smart Manufacturing) in line with Industrial 4.0 for cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with PME and WW partners on process changes and convergence.
- Drive improvement plans on sustainable performance on quality, yield and throughput.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent or at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Possess good understanding of manufacturing process, methodologies and environment.
- Strong technical leadership, excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
- Good understanding of quality assurance and process control knowledge.
- Excellent team player, interpersonal and effective communication skills across functions and geographies.
- Good visualization skills to create real-time dashboards and/or reports to inform trends and insights.
- A willingness to learn and the ability to communicate ideas clearly in a team.
- Experience with JMP, Excel, Power BI would be an advantage.
- Proactive, Innovative, Independent and Self Motivating.
