- Responsible for processing and management of customers’ orders with timely deliveries and shipments arrangement to be made in the most optimum manner.
- Act as a key interface for all customers’ orders and logistics enquiries.
- Point of contact for customers in all purchase orders and deliveries/ shipments concerns.
- Ensure prompt shipments/ deliveries (this may include short lead-time orders), ability to resolve issue when conflict arises.
- Knowledge of local and overseas regulations with proper documentation.
- Timely keying in of orders and acknowledgement of customer purchase orders.
- Logistics arrangements for deliveries and work with transporters/ forwarders/ warehouses to resolve any issues which may result in delayed or no shipment.
- Ensure no overdue customer orders; to highlight and work closely with sales team and business development team to clear overdue customer orders for deliveries/ shipments arrangement.
- Interface with team members prior to shipment of goods to customers with the objective of consolidation of deliveries for cost saving and control.
- Liaise with customers on deliveries/ shipments dates and any special requirements pertaining to customers’ orders fulfillment.
- Perform Good Receive, Delivery Order, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Proforma Invoice, Sales Contract, liaise forwarders on custom documents etc.
- Any other tasks assign from time to time.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in customer order management within the shipping industry is required for this position.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain, Customer Service or equivalent
