Human Resources Manager
The candidate will report to the President of NIM.
Job Descriptions:
- Developing recruitment strategies, implementing systems for managing staff benefits, payroll, attendance record and onboarding new employee. This include arranging interview for new hirer, interview and prepare them accordingly to cultivate a healthy work environment where everyone thrive.
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Creates leaning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Updates to employee files, tracking vacation/sick pay, handle hourly employee validations, and benefit changes.
- Assist in the development, communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies and formulate the training plan.
- Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Performs other duties as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 5 years of working experience in similar capacity preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suit or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- Effectively bilingual (reading, writing, and speaking) in English and Chinese due to the need to liaise with chinese speaking colleagues, foreign stakeholders and counterparts based in China.
- Good Leadership at the same time a team player.
