My client, an IT company is hiring for an Accounts Executive (AR, 1 year contract) with the possibility of converting to a permanent staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
- Generate and send invoices to customers
- Process customer payments and apply them to customer accounts
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy
- Resolve customer billing disputes
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments
- Monitor customer accounts for delinquent payments
- Prepare and submit monthly reports to management
- Maintain customer accounts in the accounting system
- Prepare and submit customer statements
- Handling both GST and overseas VAT
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed
- Assist with Internal/External Auditor requirement for accounting related
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting or related equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in Accounts Receivable
- Familiar with project based accounting will be advantageous
- Working experiences with both GST and overseas VAT
- Flexible and independent worker
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Strong financial competency, analytical & problem-solving skills
- On-job training will be provided to equip with the skillsets.
