Our client is a Global Manufacturing MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas servicing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Procurement Assistant to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Responsibilities:
- Use various measurement techniques/methods to determine the desirable suppliers.
- Monitor and improve supplier performance as needed.
- Adjust lead times for commodities based on monitoring results.
- Plan and schedule work execution, using internal or subcontracted services, and track progress.
- Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop specifications for competitive procurement of complex items.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams.
- Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
- Collaborate with QA/QC, Safety, Purchasing, and Engineering departments.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma or equivalent
- Min 5 years of relevant working experience
