We are looking for a Finance Business Partner Logistics & Planning to make an impact! This position aims at being a trusted Finance Business Partner through strong engagement, financial expertise and business acumen, advising on topics related to the financial performance and control for Logistics & Planning. This role will cover primarily for EAJ but extending to GSC International other regions on key related initiatives.
What will you do?
Strategic advisory
- Support definition of supply chain strategy (ambition, executability, profitability).
- Support new business models (performance & KPIs).
- Review and advise on strategic resources allocation.
- Support GSC development/transformation initiatives.
- Provide expertise on specific topics to inventory management, logistics and operations.
- Drive cross functional collaboration with key stakeholders (GSC Regions, Operations / Front offices, GSC central teams)
Closing
- Contribute to Closing on Risk assessment and accruals.
- Specific focus on inventory provisions.
Planning & Forecasting
- Contribute to Target & Forecast process by providing Business Insights and ensure alignment with stakeholders and accountable with Business to deliver Target & Forecast.
- Cascade supply chain targets (Targets, Rolling Forecasts, OTTO, etc.)
Reporting and Analysis
- Understand trends/levers and risks/opportunities.
- Monitor productivity, volume vs capacity and drive related action plans.
- Provide visibility on productivity effect on performance and impact on Business and Operations P&L
Business advisory
- SPOC FBP for Planning in EAJ and more broadly DC operations and Transport.
- Identify & drive action plan to achieve targets.
- Support local transformation initiatives.
- Engage with the business leaders to deliver targets / forecasts.
- Ensure Business compliance end ethics (sound finance control process in place which comply to the Group Internal Control
- Guidance to mitigate business and financial risks)
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Degree qualifications in Finance / Accounting.
- Min 8 years of relevant experience.
- A solid experience in Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain controlling operations and financial reporting processes.
- Management experience (team or project).
- Knowledge in Schneider controlling systems (tools, systems, definitions) will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Demand & Supply Planning will be an added advantage.
- Understand the important contribution of Supply Chain performance (quality, service level and cost) to the business Performance.
- Strong systems skills.
- Strong communication skills, negotiating and analytical skills.
- Has high level of organizational skills.
- Experience in Oracle/ Bridge / SAP SD/MM/FI/CO module.
- Digital / Data Analytic capability is a plus
