Responsibilities
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications, networks, printers and others
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks including planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
- Troubleshoot system and network problems
- Diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
- Provide technical support including procedural documentation to both users and MIS
- Set up new users’ accounts and profiles
- Train/educate staff of new hardware
- Assist in the compilation and maintenance of an accurate inventory of hardware and software
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in IT or computer related field
- Knowledge in LINUX servers, MySQL, Microsoft Window Server, Active Directory, and MSSQL a MUST
- Knowledge of basic LAN/WAN networking infrastructure a MUST
- Knowledge of Backup Systems an advantage
- Knowledge of PHP programming language an advantage
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with minimum supervision
- Ability to perform installation, setup, configuration, migration, upgrading and maintenance of desktop PC, laptop, OS, software and related peripherals
- Ability to work independently and be a team player
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills in both English and Mandarin an advantage
