Overall Job Objectives:
Provide support for the management and control of the inventory level through planning, inventory flow strategies, lead-time and contingency planning
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle and manage entire spectrum of inventory along with day-to-day operations
- Monitor and control inventory while maintaining inventory accuracy for day-to-day business operations
- Support the control and management of costs involved in the direct trade of products and merchandises
- Coordinate with the various departments regarding product replenishments and promotions to maintain product inventories and meet production needs
- Support for Inventory Management – ensure product stock levels for all stores are adequate and sustainable to cater to the demands
- Coordinate and conduct on-the-job training for new store hires
- Support the creation and follow-up of necessary documentation required in the inventory management process
- Perform and assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Inventory Controller, Manager or Executive
Job Specifications:
- Relevant working experience in the retail industry
- Knowledge of perpetual inventory management
- Strong communication, management and interpersonal skills
- Well organized and have a keen eye for detail
- Able to work effectively without close supervision
