To safeguard and enhance the reputations of the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Practices (TAFEP) and Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management (TADM), and generate public awareness and understanding of the work done by both organizations. The primary responsibilities include media management and engagement, crafting clear messages for the full range of public communications materials, executing communications activities, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement communication plans to generate public awareness and understanding of the work done by TAFEP and TADM.
- Media relations — assess and attend to media queries, forum page letters, and build relationships with journalists.
- Crafting of content, copywriting and editing.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary education in Communications or relevant discipline – like Public Relations, Mass Communications or Journalism.
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in Corporate Communications Journalism or related fields.
- Strong writing skills with ability to develop creative ideas.
- Good interpersonal skills to relate to individuals from all levels and areas.
- Good project management skills.
- Keen in current affairs, and the employment and media landscape.
- Independent worker
