Key Task or Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Planner will interface with production, maintenance, engineering and with input
from design, reliability and production teams to prepare and plan work orders for the
maintenance program, grade change maintenance, plant turnarounds and selected projects. The
position is a key interface with plant personnel to accurately plan and allow scheduling of maintenance and project activities in a safe and efficient manner. The major job duties & responsibilities shall include, but not limited to:
- Plan to meet maintenance requirements in cooperation with production, technical, contractors including resources (crafts, materials, parts, equipment, 3rd party services) availability to execute maintenance activities effectively and efficiently in a coordinated way.
- Provide work order plans to fill activity schedule for daily, weekly, and monthly needs – including 1/2 week look ahead and grade change schedules.
- Review and validate clarity of work requests.
- Visit job location and field verify work request requirements.
- Developing work and material plans that minimize equipment downtime and maximize safe/efficient/effective use of resources. Initiate stock items procurement and track status of materials consumption history.
- Under support of discipline Engineer, produce the job package and documentation, including building routine/ repetitive job plans.
- In consultation with Maintenance Mechanical & E&I Engineer, Technical Engineer and Production, ensure maintenance work schedules are aligned with company objectives.
- Identify potential constraints/deficiencies/trends that could impact the schedule and recommend corrective action.
- Set net capacity for the crafts based on information about the related available labor, receive daily schedule updates from maintenance personnel and update the weekly schedule.
- Track & monitor performance of maintenance tasks execution and advise maintenance teams about issues impacting the result of the maintenance program.
- Initiate reviews of plan performance for continuous improvement of the planning process
- Support planning & scheduling of outages and turnarounds.
- Support store man to oversee maintenance store.
- Any work duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Our Requirements:
- Obtained knowledge through Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical / Electronics /Electrical Engineering
- Having min 2-3 years of industrial experience in maintenance planning and coordination of maintenance work to be implemented
- Good communication, teamwork.
- Independent and able to work effectively with individuals at all level of organization
- Familiar with CMMS (SAP PM module or others)
- Good planning skills

Work hours : 8 am to 4.30 pm (Mon to Fri)
Transport pick up : Jurong East
Salary range : $4.5-5.5k (Depending on experience)
