Reporting to the Director of Facilities & infrastructure Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the facility development process of various projects, such as design and upgrading of hospital facilities. You shall oversee the entire project from conceptual planning and budgeting to project completion and ensure quality assurance, timely completion and adherence to the budget. You will also need to have a good knowledge of prevailing regulatory requirements.
You will ensure the department provides consistent support to the hospital’s infrastructure and development by reviewing and optimising work processes regularly. You will also develop and implement staff development initiatives to ensure staff have adequate resources and support to execute their duties with excellence while ensuring the team maintains high levels of competency.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project / Construction Management, Interior Design or Building Estate Management with at least 10 years’ experience at a managerial level
- Relevant experience in infrastructure project management, project cost estimation, building design review and managing building contracts
- Good knowledge in healthcare infrastructure design and development
- Good knowledge in Building Regulations, Environment, Health and Safety and Workplace Safety and Health requirements pertaining to infrastructure facilities development
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Analytical, with the ability to multitask
