The Singapore Scout Association (SSA)
The Singapore Scout Association is a non-discriminatory youth movement established in 1910 dedicated to the development and enablement of young people in Singapore to become responsible and active citizens. Through the Mission of educating young people on a value system based on the Scout Promise and Scout Law, Scouts help to build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
Responsibilities:
· Design and Conduct programmes based on client needs.
· Manage manpower to run the programmes well.
· Identify areas of improvement in programmes.
· Implement quality control and compliance procedures.
· Develop information materials for distribution to clients and participants
Stakeholder Relationships:
· Coordinate with other organisations for the execution of programmes.
· Manage communications and feedback from clients and stakeholders
Technical Skills and Competencies:
· Provide guidance to youths to facilitate their holistic development.
· Interact and engage the youths in diverse settings through platforms and activities that interest them.
· Develop and implement programmes using frameworks that serve the needs of the clients and participants.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of programme in meeting the needs of the clients and participants.
· Plan and implement strategies to build and manage constructive and positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Characteristics & Requirements
· Passionate about planning and conducting programmes and events for youths.
· Cares about the values in young people.
· Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Diploma or degree in any discipline, qualifications in Outdoor Education, Psychology or Interpersonal Communication Skills an advantage.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills (Words/Excel/PowerPoint) and familiar with Google’s related platform.
Working Days:
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.30pm
