Job Title: Program Coordinator (for schools)
Reports To: Manager
Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator to join our sports coaching academy. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and administration of all sports programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Planning and Development:Develop and implement sports programs and schedules in line with the academy’s goals and objectives.
Collaborate with coaches to design training sessions, workshops, and events.
Ensure that all programs meet the quality standards and guidelines set by the academy.
- Administration and Coordination:Coordinate the day-to-day operations of sports programs, including scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics.
Maintain accurate records of program activities, attendance, and performance metrics.
Handle administrative tasks such as preparing reports, managing databases, and processing payments and registrations.
- Communication and Outreach:Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, parents, and coaches regarding program details and updates.
Develop and distribute promotional materials to attract new participants and retain current ones.
Foster relationships with community partners, sponsors, and other stakeholders to enhance program visibility and support.
- Staff Management and Support:Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of coaches and support staff.
Coordinate staff schedules and ensure appropriate coverage for all programs and events.
Provide ongoing support and feedback to staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Event Management:Plan and oversee the execution of programs.
Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, equipment setup, and volunteer management.
Ensure all events run smoothly and address any issues or emergencies promptly.
- Budget and Resource Management:Assist in the development and management of program budgets.
Monitor expenses and ensure programs operate within budgetary constraints.
Identify and secure resources, including equipment and facilities, necessary for program success.
- Evaluation and Improvement:Collect and analyze feedback from participants, parents, and staff to assess program effectiveness.
Implement improvements based on evaluation results to enhance program quality and participant satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve program offerings.
Requirements
- A minimum of Diploma in sport and event management related.
- Proven experience in program coordination or a similar role, preferably in a sports or coaching environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
