Job Description:
- Will provide guidance to the technical team in terms of Architecture Design, PEGA configuration design
- Will conduct necessary proof-of-concept and share approach with project team
- Will create Services to integrate with other Pega applications.
- Will create Connectors to connect to other Pega applications.
- Will establish Pega coding standards
- Will be Guiding & Mentoring the team members with the Pega development best practices.
- Will be reviewing the Pega code developed by the team members.
- Will be providing the Pega estimations by understanding the requirements.
- Will be delivering the Pega projects within the agreed time lines.
- Will be following the Agile methodology for the tasks.
- Will be communicating with Offshore resources about the tasks and work allocation
- The candidate will influence the Technical decision making for Enterprise Applications on Pega platform through negotiation and collaboration with the stakeholders in multiple geographies.
- Will foster and build relationships, engage and influence others, work with diverse internal, global business units and global network providers/outsourcers.
- Will be explaining technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding at all levels through strong written, and oral communication skills.
- Will address architectural issues and conceptual designs for Pega Enterprise Applications.
- Will be required to identify and resolve complex technical issues on the Pega platform applications.
- Will balance tactical needs with strategic objectives.
- The candidate will ramp up their knowledge on client systems, architecture, way of working and foster a good and warm professional relationship with the customer and all stakeholders.
- The candidate will represent Cognizant in the client place and thus will adhere to all Cognizant policies and procedures; and act in a way that does not bring disrepute to the organization.
- The candidate will be following client holiday schedules.
- The candidate will follow all security and compliance policies that are laid out by the client to ensure there are no security or compliance breaches whatsoever
Primary Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in PRPC technology platform (Pega)
- PEGA CSSA certification is mandatory.
- Pega CLSA certification is ideal
- Performance tuning and optimization of PRPC implementations: Ability to use application preflight tool, PAL, DB Trace, Profiler tool, SMA console, PegaAES
- Excellent knowledge of PRPC features both on BPM and BRE side. Well versant with release-to-release features
- Should have good knowledge on all rule types, UI and correspondence features
- Understand the rules management and associated tools such as export & import tools, skimming and bulk processing tools
- Should be able to understand the scalability and reuse aspects of the application in development and can provide and evaluate enterprise class structure that is scalable and extensible
- Able to elaborate use cases in PRPC language, able to evaluate low level and high-level designs
- Good knowledge of PRPC integration capabilities and able to use integration wizards
- Good understanding of PRPC security model, integrating PRPC with external managed security such as SSO and LDAP
- Good knowledge of general PRPC architecture and its fitment to J2EE architecture.
- Good Knowledge of Insurance Claims domain.
