Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive HR functions for three entities with a total headcount of 100 employees.
- Oversee day-to-day operational and business issues related to HR matters.
- Co-lead the Sustainability Committee and achieved Eco-Office certification in 2023.
- Mentor and lead the Sustainability team for the submission and successful approval of government grants.
- Develop job redesign training plans while leveraging WSG’s Career Conversion Program for Professional Executives Grant.
- Develop and implement TAFEP policies.
- Create and manage the company-wide Annual Training Plan.
- Serve as an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2019, and ISO 22301:2019 standards.
- Review and formulate HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain HRIS systems, including payroll management, HRIS, and leave management (Whyze software).
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including liaising with recruitment agencies, posting job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, employment offers, work pass applications, and onboarding new hires.
- Administer the annual appraisal process.
- Review and renew group insurance policies.
- Process staff exit matters, including exit clearance and IR21 for foreign employees.
- Submit various government grant claims such as NS make-up pay, maternity leave, paternity leave, and childcare leave.
- Handle Man-Year applications and submission of levy waivers.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Assistant or HR Manager or similar role, preferably in a multi-entity organization.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives and government grant submissions.
- Proficiency in using HRIS and payroll systems, preferably Whyze software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and ISO standards.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
- Competence in developing training and development plans.
