- Source, select, appoint and assess service vendors in accordance to the Organization's procurement procedures and policies
- Ensure timely renewal of term contract services
- Monitor market trends for Food & Beverage products and services
- Maintain costing data and approved vendors listing
- Verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
- Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department
- Obtain purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders
- Ensure products are delivered and respond to any changes in customer demand timely
- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones
- Attending trade events
- Performs other tasks or projects assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Procurement/Supply Chain/Logistic or equivalent qualifications
- At least 1 to 2 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity preferably in Food & Beverage industry
- Knowledge of SAP will be an add on point
- Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good team player and able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment
