- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
- Packing incoming stock away,taking inventory and reporting shortages.
- Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Picking orders as requested by Supervisor.
- Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.
- Placing containers on pallets, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
- Loading and unloading goods (up to 25KG)
- Good knowledge of food hygiene law
- Assisting in maintaining security of warehouse.
- Other duties as and when assigned by Supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge in food products and is familiar with the food service environment
- Familiar with food/meat handling and handling process
- Good knowledge of food hygiene law
- Hands-on execution, able to meet deadline and work under pressure
- Independent and Team player
- Display a positive attitude towards learning
- Work well under pressure and have no qualms assuming additional responsibilities
