Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Scope of Work:

1. Servers Administration (Windows Server 2003 and above)Perform patching and troubleshooting.
   Support user account administration in Active Directory (AD).
   Test and implement security patches for operating systems, servers, and network devices. Stay updated on vulnerability trends and threats.
   
2. Firewall Administration (Fortigate)Manage policies and adhere to best practices.
   Perform patching and troubleshooting.
   
3. Rack ManagementOrganize and maintain server racks.
   
4. DMZ AdministrationManage and maintain the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
   
5. SSL Certificates AdministrationManage SSL certificates through Netrust/Entrust Portal.
   Renew and revoke certificates as necessary.
   
6. WiFi Administration (Ruckus WAP and ZoneDirector)Perform patching and troubleshooting.
   Monitor and fine-tune for optimal performance.
   
7. Switches Administration (Cisco Switches)Handle stacking and VLAN configurations.
   Perform patching and troubleshooting.
   
8. UPS Administration (APC)Manage and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
   
9. Office 365 AdministrationAdminister accounts in Azure AD.
   Manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, etc.
   Utilize Intune Manager for device management.
   
10. Trend Micro Apex One AdministrationOversee and manage Trend Micro Apex One security solutions.
    
11. IT Assets InventoryTrack and update IT assets.
    Maintain comprehensive IT documentation and an up-to-date inventory of servers and network equipment.
    Assist in the decommissioning and disposal of network devices.
    
12. Backup and Recovery (Backup Exec and Veeam)Manage tape backups and file/VM restoration.
    Conduct quarterly tape restoration exercises.
    
13. Vendor LiaisonCoordinate with vendors for servicing, installation, and network cabling work.
    
14. Business Continuity Plan (BCP) SupportSupport offsite recovery exercises for legacy systems (documentation provided).
    Work with Windows 2003 Server OS and Windows XP clients.
    Participate in executing the Disaster Recovery Plan.
    
15. CDN Administration (Cloudflare)Manage basic CDN tasks, including DNS records and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
    
16. Collaborate with Onsite Desktop EngineerAssist in solving, troubleshooting, or providing support when required.
    
17. Ticket Management (Zendesk System)Address and resolve infrastructure and network tickets.
    
18. End-User Technical SupportProvide ad hoc on-site or remote technical support to remote users and subsidiaries as needed.
    
19. Log Analysis and Issue ResolutionAnalyze critical logs, investigate, and troubleshoot technical issues.
    
20. Ad Hoc Infrastructure TasksPerform any additional tasks related to infrastructure as required.
    

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in server and network administration.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Fortigate firewalls, Cisco switches, and Office 365 administration.
• Strong knowledge of SSL certificate management, backup and recovery solutions, and CDN basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work collaboratively with a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with vendors and providing end-user support.
