Electrical Engineer cum Drafter

Job Description:

1. Report directly to the Project Manager.
2. Oversee daily site operations as directed by the Project Manager.
3. Supervise the site team and sub-contractors under your responsibility.
4. Assist in project planning and coordinate labour and materials for the site.
5. Maintain strong relationships with site workers, contractors, and suppliers.
6. Manage daily construction operations, including planning, cost control, and shop drawing submissions and approvals.
7. Ensure contractors implement any changes to the project plan.
8. Coordinate interdepartmental relationships to manage extensive Excel spreadsheet content for: ● Reporting engineering resource needs relative to current and upcoming work
   ● Preparing progressive claims and reports for the main contractor and consultant
   ● Providing timely responses and justifications to sub-contractors for their completed work
   
9. Ensure the project stays on schedule and meets handover deadlines.
10. Adhere to Safety and Health Standards and procedures on-site.
11. Report any on-site accidents to the Project Manager.
12. Ensure the construction site remains safe and free from hazardous materials or objects.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Project/Construction Management.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in M&E or Construction, or an equivalent field.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD, BIM, and 3D software.
5. Strong background in Construction and M&E.
