Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Executive to oversee the operations and maintenance of our commercial building.
The ideal candidate will ensure the building operates efficiently, safely, and meets all regulatory requirements.
This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in facilities management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the commercial building, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other critical infrastructure.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize building performance, reduce operating costs, and enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and other facility services.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits as required.
- Coordinate with tenants to address their facility-related needs and maintain positive tenant relations.
- Prepare and manage the facilities budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Implement sustainable practices and initiatives to promote energy efficiency and environmental responsibility within the building.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience 2 years in facilities management, preferably in commercial real estate or property management.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
