Corporate Banking Relationship Manager

Our client, an established award winning bank, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Banking Relationship Manager specializing in the transportation industry. You will be responsible for fostering and growing relationships with large corporate clients within the transportation sector, aiming to understand their financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in large corporate clients within the transportation industry.
  • Understand clients' financial objectives and challenges to propose appropriate banking solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transportation sector to expand the bank’s client base.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business development goals and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to tailor banking products and services that meet the specific needs of transportation clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of clients' businesses to assess creditworthiness and mitigate risks.
  • Structure credit proposals and negotiate terms in collaboration with credit risk management teams.
  • Monitor credit facilities and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments affecting the transportation sector.
  • Provide insights and strategic advice to clients based on industry knowledge and banking expertise.
  • Actively participate in industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance visibility and reputation in the market.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities for other banking products and services, such as treasury management, trade finance, and capital markets solutions.
  • Work closely with product specialists to deliver integrated solutions that add value to clients and deepen relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree and/or CFA certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (7 years) as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager or similar role, with a focus on the transportation industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking products, credit analysis, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving business development goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis tools, and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to speak in Mandarin is a plus
