Brief Description:
End-User Support, strong in supporting all Windows, iOS, and macOS systems, applications, and networking related.
Responsibilities
- Basic help desk resolution and service desk delivery.
- Routine System administrative activities
- Troubleshooting for Alert logs files, transaction logs and backup logs.
- Troubleshoot End to End User Devices
- Run the backups, recovery errors, respond to the request regarding the restoration of the DB
- Responsible on making backup tapes schedule and changes.
- Monitor the metric alerts, performance-related issues like high CPU utilization, Application performance, high Memory utilization, Application tuning and Query.
- tuning
- Acknowledge the request for DB stop/start, user creation and grant specific data access to user.
- System upgrades/migrations
- Making sure Inventory is updated.
- Escalates the problem to next level/Vendor.
- Good working experience in iOS devices ( iPad, MacBook, & iMac )
Requirements
- Higher Nitec and above in Information Technology or related field
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices.
- Basic understanding of infrastructure and network concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.
- Strong technical knowledge of desktop operating systems, applications, and hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, if required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in desktop support, maintenance, and basic infrastructure/network troubleshooting.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), ITIL Foundation Certification, or basic networking certifications (e.g., CCNA) are a plus.
Contract Type: 12 Months (Renewal)
Salary: SGD3,200 to SGD3,500
Location: Punggol
Working Hours:
i. Mon – Fri 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (onsite), Sat 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. (onsite)
ii. Mon – Fri 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (onsite)
Commencement: Immediate
