Job Title: Purchasing Executive -Marine (ID7020)
Location: Gul Circle
Working Hours: Mon to Thu 8am-6pm, Fri: 8am-5pm
Salary: $2500-$3800
Job Description
• Negotiate term contracts/credit terms with suppliers.
• Implement and maintain ISO 9001:2015.
• Conduct supplier audit.
• Execute orders and monitor delivery status.
• Responsible for the quality of products supplied to the company.
• Manage and source for vendors with competitive prices.
• Manage store supplies, ensure sufficient stocks for daily work operations.
• Upkeep purchased records and provided monthly reports for all orders.
• Responsible for purchasing spare parts & consumables requested by Engineers.
Requirements:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably with technical knowledge
• Min 2-3 years purchasing experience in Marine Industry
• Good command of spoken and written English
• (Outdoor) Needs to go around factories to source for parts and liaise with local suppliers.
• Preferably with driver's license to source for supplier’s island wide
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Independent, resourceful, pro-active and team player
