The Quality Control (QC) Executive/Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing the quality control processes to ensure that products meet specified quality and safety standards. This role involves inspecting and testing products, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and Test Products: Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Develop QC Procedures: Develop and maintain quality control procedures and standards for the organization.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and any corrective actions taken.
- Compliance: Ensure that products comply with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal quality requirements.
- Analyze Data: Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present quality reports to management.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and address quality issues, working closely with production and QA teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
- Equipment Calibration: Ensure all testing and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Training: Train and guide QC staff on proper inspection and testing procedures, as well as quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
