Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of digital marketing, including social media management, content creation, SEO, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or student pursuing a diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
As a startup, we offer our interns with the unique opportunity to participate in our decision making process intimately and make an impact with the creative outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Create, schedule, and manage content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for search engines (SEO)
- Analyze campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and provide actionable insights
- Design and produce marketing materials, including graphics, email newsletters, and blog posts
- Support email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp and Constant Contact
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute innovative marketing strategies
- Monitor social media channels and engage with followers, responding to comments and messages
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Passion for digital marketing and staying updated on industry trends
