Warehouse Manager (Warehouse Ops/3PL)
Job Summary:
Company Background: Freight Forwarding Field
Location: West (walking distant from MRT)
Working days: 5 days, Mon – Fri (8:30am – 5:30pm)
Salary Range: up to $6500 (Depend on experience) + bonus (2x annually)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple warehouses; outdoor and indoor space
- Comply with legal, customs & industry certifications/standards requirements on local, bonded & licensed warehousing, material handling, shipping requirements & all safety aspects. Study existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
- Drive warehouse operations; material handling, customer service and records keeping.
- Interface with the customer’s key leaders and internal departments to plan workflow, react to changes, drive improvement programs and resolve issues
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Manage inventory accuracy by conducting physical counts when applicable; reconciling with data storage system
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse & open yard by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Achieve financial objectives by prompt submission of billing instructions & verification of claims & costs. In addition, the preparation of annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
Requirement
- Experience with Project Cargo, OOG (out-of-gauge) cargoes
- Demonstrated success in leading, motivating and developing individuals and high-performance teams
