The Corporate Affairs Executive is responsible for supporting the implementation of Marina Bay Sands’ strategic corporate affairs plan and approach, aimed at enhancing engagement with the Singapore Government and other important external stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Affairs, responsibilities include:
JOB SCOPE
Government liaison and policy analysis
- Establish relationships with key government representatives, trade associations, think tanks and other related institutions
- Monitor and analyze policies, regulations and legislative developments that may impact the business
- Provide strategic guidance and support to Business Units across the Company in their engagements with government
Partnership development
- Identify potential areas of cooperation with government agencies and relevant institutions
- Collaborate with trade associations that can add value to the Company’s external engagements
- Develop partnership programmes that provide strategic value-add to the Company
Communications and reporting
- Prepare and maintain repository of materials for Corporate Affairs activities and external engagements
- Leverage channels to enhance mindshare of the Company’s business and activities
- Communicate relevant information about policy matters to internal stakeholders and leadership
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree/postgraduate degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law or a related field is preferred
- 2 to 3 years of experience working in government or in roles that require government engagements
- Strong understanding of government processes, policy development and regulatory approach in Singapore
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with government officials and stakeholders
