Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding & offboarding processes, including conducting orientation sessions for new hires, processing completion of probationary period and ensuring proper exit procedures for departing employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure completeness of documentations.
- Handle work pass applications, renewal and cancellation including arrange for repatriation of workers.
- Administer employee benefits programs including enrolment, changes, and cessation.
- Coordinate internal/external training programs and arrange employee engagement activities.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, letter requests, policies & procedures. Address employee concerns and escalate issues to HR management when necessary.
- Prepare report for management and labour regulatory.
- Provide administrative support to day-to-day operations of the HR office, e.g., replenishment of stationery supplies, etc. On an ad-hoc basis, source for vendors with the most competitive cost.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned, such as employee engagement surveys, HR system implementation, and HR process improvements.
Prerequisites
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR professional experience, IHRP CP certified candidate preferred.
- Diploma in Human Resources Management or its equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Employment Act, WICA, HR practices and policies.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Attention to detail and meticulous in managing employee records and HR documentation.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
