As part of their business expansion, they are currently seeking an E-Sports and Partnership Lead to spearhead the development, execution, and management of our e-sports initiatives and strategic partnerships.
This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving the growth of our esports presence, enhancing our brand’s reputation in the competitive gaming industry, and cultivating robust relationships with key stakeholders.
Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will includes
- Formulate and implement a forward-thinking e-sports strategy that aligns with our company’s goals and market trends.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with e-sports organizations, sponsors, gaming platforms, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Build and nurture a vibrant and engaged e-sports community through targeted marketing, content creation, and interactive initiatives.
- Enhance the company’s brand within the e-sports and gaming community through innovative marketing and branding initiatives.
- Assist in driving revenue generation through innovative monetization strategies, including sponsorships, media rights, merchandise, and in-game activations.
- Develop and manage budgets for e-sports programs and partnerships, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of e-sports initiatives and partnerships, providing regular reports to senior management.
Skills and experience required
- Min 7 years of relevant experience including with proven team management skill-sets as well as experience in organizing large scale events
- Possess extensive knowledge of various game genres and a profound understanding of the esports landscape.
- Understanding of the gaming eco-system such as game development, operation, and publishing, with hands-on experience in game publishing.
