Job Summary:
Reporting to Finance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for AP (Account Payable) and AR (Account Receivable) duties and to escalate any issues in a timely manner. This role requires one who is a team player and plays an important part in the Finance Team. Other duties include administrative tasks.
Role Responsibilities:
- Handle the AP (Account Payable), AR (Account Receivable), expenses, banking & reconciliations.
- Process suppliers’ external and inter-companies’ invoices, employee reimbursements and payments.
- Reconcile monthly suppliers’ & inter-company statements.
- Maintain good documentation and filing system.
- Assist in yearly stock count and support audit.
- Able to meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills & Qualifications Needed:
- Min Diploma in Accountancy / LCCI certified
- Min 2 years of relevant experience in commercial environment
- Involved in system implementation/migration
- Previous experience of working in commercial marine industry
- Excellent time management, able to meet tight deadlines & able to work under pressure
- Good IT skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact successfully with people at all levels, requiring skills in diplomacy and tact
- Requires flexible approach to dealing with ever changing priorities and deadlines
- Able to work independently with little to no supervision and collaborate well with others
