Our client, a global education institution dedicated to providing high-quality education to students from around the world. We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Cloud and Cyber Security Manager to their team and lead their cloud migration and security initiatives.
Role Description
Cloud and Cyber Security Management:
- Implement and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure services
- Configure and manage Microsoft email system, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender (M365, Endpoints, Identity and Cloud), and MS Purview
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks
- Monitor security logs and alerts to identify and respond to cyber security incidents
- Provide security awareness training and security advisories
- Install and maintain school internet filtering system
Server Infrastructure Management:
- Monitor and renew warranty status on all servers
- Monitor server health
- Migrate, upgrade, and update servers
- Maintain up-to-date records of IT infrastructure-related documentation
Procurement / Resources / Licensing:
- Source quotes for server and network infrastructure equipment purchases
- Oversee disposal process for IT-related equipment (with Helpdesk/AV Technician)
- Ensure budgetary and inventory routines are maintained
- Contribute to IT budget formulation
Policy, Procedure, and Project Management:
- Work with Senior Cyber Security Manager to develop Cyber Security strategy, policies, and procedures
- Provide implementation plan for current/planned IT projects
- Liaise with vendors and 3rd-party contractors
- Support IT team in identifying technical needs and priorities
- Contribute to annual IT budget development
- Attend management meetings as requested, advising on technical issues
General:
- Stay up to date with current cyber security, data protection, AI, network systems, and application development technologies
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards users' needs
- Operate within school policies
- May require occasional overtime as deemed necessary and reasonable by the school
- Report any concerns about a child to the Designated Safeguarding Lead

Qualifications
- Minimum Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum relevant experience of 5 years and above
- Azure Solution Architect certification (preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365 and Cyber Security
- Experience in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defenders and Microsoft Sentinel
- Able to work independently as well as a good team player with good initiative
- Will accept late hours and weekend work for maintenance and patching
