The Role
This position will be part of the group consolidation team in charge of financial reporting and management reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare financial closing and budgeting
- Assist in reviewing and analysing financial reports from overseas entities, liaising with the overseas finance team for the submission and analysis of financial reports
- Assist team with group consolidation and management reporting functions in accordance with the statutory requirements as well as company policies and procedures
- Assist team with timely and accurate preparation and analysis of the group financial and management reports
- Assist with the timely and accurate preparation of result announcements, financial statements and annual report
- Assist in the annual audit process, tax filing matters and any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and regulatory requirements
- Support system implementation/improvements as necessary
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and other initiatives
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent, Chartered Accountant (CA) will be ideal
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
- Well-versed in SFRS, tax regulations and MS Excel.
- Meticulous, ability to work independently as well as being a good team player
