We are seeking a candidate for the Accountant position to join our team in the payment services sector.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly accounting entries accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct reconciliations between internal data and third-party statements.
- Generate and manage various schedules and invoices as needed.
- Prepare quarterly GST filings.
- Prepare monthly MAS reporting forms in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Undertake filing duties and any other assigned ad hoc tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with general ledger functions and full sets of accounting.
- Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Preferably, have the ability to interpret Chinese and Japanese characters.
- Experience in auditing is advantageous.
