Job Description
· Analyze statistics and evaluate spending operations to ensure consistency between costs, commercial needs, and operation execution
· Review and check procurement of inland facilities (depots, ICDs, CFS) and transportation network (trucking, barge, and rail) to meet business goals
· Initiate and drive cost saving projects across different departments and regions
· Establish global policy for inland procurement/processes and steering regional inland procurement strategy to ensure cost competitiveness, service quality and compliance
· Assist with other duties when required
Job Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline
· Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills
· Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Strong negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal)
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Experience in liner shipping or familiarity with liner/intermodal procurement, operation and inland facilities will be advantageous
