Description
The APAC Operations BI team is looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent web development and database skills. This individual must possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills and a proven track record of effectively translate business requirements into end to end technical solutions. The ideal candidate should also show a passion for business processes optimisation and challenging the status quo. Key responsibilities:
- Design and build web applications to allow users to:
- Visualise large datasets and KPIs
- Run complex simulations for forecasting and planning
- Manage workflow between business functions
- Design, develop, tune and service SQL databases
- Engaging with business users for business requirements
- Developing enhancements to existing solutions
- Production support for applications and databases
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experiences in a professional development environment.
- Strong knowledge of web application development and analytical programming.
- Strong development experience in using a LAMP solution stack.
- Experience in developing application with PHP, Python, Angular 2, React.
- Strong object oriented programming and design experience.
- Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modelling.
- Experience in SQL tuning, writing complex queries, triggers and query optimisation.
- Able to proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members and non-technical business partners.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
- Must possess an enthusiastic and positive work attitude.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of coding languages such as Java, Node JS is a plus.
- Experience in Docker and micro services architecture is a plus.
- Knowledge of building applications in the Supply Chain space preferred.
